co-founder of the largest insurtech in the MENA region, that reached a value of $1 billion shortly after it launched on the Saudi stock-exchange.

Nayef spent several years working for a leading global investment bank in London and has managed numerous placements on behalf of Emirati corporate investors as well as making many highly successful private investments.
Thamer Alfallaj

Thamer has a Masters in software systems at St Thomas, Minnesota. Thamer has great experience in developing pioneering technology products for major corporations and government agencies in both Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He was co-founder of the largest insurtech in the MENA region, that reached a value of $1 billion shortly after it launched on the Saudi stock-exchange.
Abdulelah Alghofaili
Co-Founder & Shory CEO
Abdulelah has a Masters in software engineering at St Thomas, Minnesota. Abdulelah is a tech-entrepreneur and worked on several transformative Saudi Arabian government digital initiatives and was part of the team that built the MENA region’s first billion-dollar insurtech. He is now responsible for leading Shory.
Karl Kondal
Chief Strategy Officer
Karl is an entrepreneur with a background in banking and insurance. He has founded several businesses, in Africa, the UK and Middle East and worked with Accenture on what at the time was the world’s largest insurance technology project. He was part of the team that built the MENA region’s first billion-dollar insurtech.

Debbie obtained her doctorate in Adult Learning and Organisational Leadership from Columbia University. She has extensive experience of building and leading high-performing teams in several industry sectors in Canada and the Middle East. She is also a published author.
